AVA Development Society was established in January 2001 with a commitment to serve poor, marginalised and disadvantaged rural communities. As a national non-political, non-profitable, non-government voluntary and social organization, AVA works to improve human dignity, social justice and sustainable development. The organization gives priority to poor, landless, disabled, indigenous and deprived groups, helping them become part of the socio-economic development process. Through community organization, awareness building, livelihood support, education, health, agriculture and clean energy programs, AVA continues to work for long-term rural development in Bangladesh.
