The Vulnerable Group Development program is one of AVA Development Society’s important social safety net initiatives for ultra-poor women. The program supports women through food assistance, life skills training, income-generating skills, savings management and access to credit. AVA works to improve the socio-economic condition of VGD women and help them become more confident, skilled and self-reliant. By providing training, awareness and follow-up support, AVA helps vulnerable women move toward better livelihood opportunities and stronger participation in family and community life.
